Will Jackson

Web developer and WordPress specialist based in Surrey.

I build practical, commercially useful websites and tools using WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, JavaScript and modern frontend workflows. Available for agency and in-house roles.

About

I’m a web developer based in Surrey, specialising in WordPress, WooCommerce and practical, maintainable websites.

At Woven & Woods, I work as the technical lead across the company’s website and wider digital systems. My work covers custom WordPress development, WooCommerce, technical SEO, analytics, hosting, performance optimisation and internal tools, supporting a catalogue of just over 1,000 products.

Before moving into web development, I worked in a number of legal roles, which shaped the way I work today: careful, organised and detail-focused. I’m interested in building websites that are fast, easy to manage and genuinely useful - not just for visitors, but for the people who have to run them day to day.

Outside of work, I enjoy photography, trying out new recipes and exploring the Surrey countryside. Since 2020, I've also co-hosted a history podcast.
